An history
Owner of the mythic Tremplin in Courchevel (in his family for 60 years !) and of the creperie, Jean-Jack Bertrand took also the ownership of L’Auberge de Savoie in Moutiers (4* Hotel). This bon vivant, cigares, fine wines, and contemporary art lover has got a high level ski background. Got into the official french team at the age of 15, Jean-Jack Bertrand counts some remarkable performances and podium to his records. Sharing his time between Val d'Isère and the french riviera during his childhood, he early develops a passion for the sea and sailing. Thanks to his parents' 17 meters sailing boat, this traveller-born, curious of the world, roamed the Mediterranean sea from Gibraltar to Turkey.
« Since the early 80's, I came here several times to work with my father. But I wasn't invested. I was a ski champion, restauration wasn't my field ! An then, I started feel like it. I am a food lover ! Since I took the head of the restaurant in 1998, I attach great important to put on the menu the best and more remarkable products I had the chance to taste around the world, an that couldn't be found in Courchevel.»
Nowadays, the Tremplin is an unmissable adress for demanding foodies that wants to taste lobster, caviar, truffles... and fine wines !

At the head of the brasserie-restaurant LE TREMPLIN, institution in Courchevel 1850 for more than 65 years, Jean-Jack Bertrand thanks his team, that come back faithfully through the years. Indeed, a quarter of the Tremplin's staff is in position for a century quarter or more, some are for more than 30 years !
The restaurant contains also father and son duos ! A beautifull team that enjoys offering each season the best of services and good ski to the Courchevel loyals.
